Flying Leap Reserva Sangiovese

Flying Leap Vineyard produces one of the best full lines of wines in Arizona.  Located in Southeastern Arizona with the winery in Elgin and vineyards in the Willcox and Sonoita AVA's.  This Reserva Sangiovese is stunning and one of the best wines from Arizona.  Aged for 16 months in new French Oak.  It has medium body but is packed with savory fresh cherry flavor and bright acidity makes this an off the chart food wine.  We blind tasted against many classic Italian Sangiovese based wines and it stood out and blew them away.  If only the Roman Legions had visited Arizona long ago...
